Creating the Corpse

Stage one.

I started with a skeleton from the Anatomical Chart Company. It was one of the cheaper ones, so there were many imperfections I had to repair. The jaw was far too wide, so I heated it, and bent it to conform to the rest of the skull. I also had to do quite a bit of grinding and sanding to get it into shape. The same for the eye sockets. I removed all the metal hinges. The I blended epoxy putty to cover those areas and secure the top of the cranium. I reshaped some of the chin with epoxy and completely reshaped the teeth to make them look a bit more realistic. Finally; since the forehead and brow region didn't look quite right, I created a new one from epoxy.
