Creating the Corpse

Stage one.

I started with a skeleton from the Anatomical Chart Company. It was one of the cheaper ones, so there were many imperfections I had to repair. The jaw was far too wide, so I heated it, and bent it to conform to the rest of the skull. I also had to do quite a bit of grinding and sanding to get it into shape. The same for the eye sockets. I had to remove all the metal hinges, and blend epoxy putty over those areas, including securing the top of the cranium on. I reshaped the chin with some more epoxy, and completely reshaped the teeth to make them look a bit more real. Finally, the forehead and brow region looked a bit wrong, so I created a new one of epoxy.
